Trail Maintenance
Throughout the year, the Friends of the TBTL organize maintenance days where trail-maintenance tasks such as mowing or sawing are undertaken and trail signage is checked. All are welcome, and the trail maintenance supervisor will identify tasks that are appropriate to your experience and skill. Trail Surveying
Accurate information about any new obstructions helps maintenance teams respond quickly and with the right equipment to remove them.
If you come across an obstacle across the trail, like a fallen tree, please take a photo of it and a screenshot of a zoomed-in map highlighting the location. Please send those, with a distance and direction to the nearest road crossing and ideally the distance from the nearest mile post, to Bryan Oliphint at (409) 988-8592.
